How to setup my profile playlist
In this guide you will learn how to fully setup and customize your profile playlist using MIXPOD's service.

Step by step guide:

1.- Go to MIXPOD.COM and Sign Up.

2.- After you've created your account Login.

3.- On the navbar click the "Create Playlist" button.

4.- Now look for the songs you like and click on the + (plus) symbol to add it to your playlist, and the play button for a quick preview of the song / video.
Another option is by clicking on the "Add URL" link, you can add a direct link to a .mp3 file or to a youtube video, that simple.

5.- After you are done with the songs go to the second tab "Customize" then click "Settings". Set your playlist Privacy to Public then save changes. ( don't worry about all the other options, such as skin, colors, volume, shuffle etc.. you will set up all that here from the forums playlist user control panel )

6.- Now click on the third tab "Save Playlist" and add a title to it and a description if you want then select your playlist genres and then add some tags if you want ( Most of the things of this step are not needed, only the playlist title )

7.- Click the big green button "SAVE ( get code )".

8.- Don't do anything with that code they're giving you, just go to "My Playlists > Saved Playlists" and you will see the playlists you've created.

9.- Click on the playlist title that you want to add to the forum.

You will see your playlist there, and the link should be something like this:
http://www.mixpod.com/playlist/30992267

What you have to do is copy those numbers (30992267) and put it into the Playlist ID field HERE.

10.- Now just complete all the other options you have there, you can change the playlist colors, activate or deactivate shuffle/autoplay, change the playlist position and more.

For the color options, you must use HTML colors this means you won't type for example in background color "red", no !, you need to use HTML colors ..

Move the little circle that is on the colored square and then take the number that is at the bottom-right side of this javascript. for example 000000, thats the color that you will use if you want a back background.

If you are using music from CDs you will have to upload them onto your computer, you can do this with mostly any media player, windows is the most commonly used. If you purchase music off of itunes you can also make a play list there with your music. Open windows media player and click on library. This will display all the music on your computer that you have added from CD's. Click on now playing and remove any music listed if necessary. Add the music you want for your play list here in any order you wish. When you are finished click 'Now Playing' and then save as. If you use itunes and you would instead like to make a play list with music you have purchased, open the itunes application. Under file click new play list, this is also sometimes found on the bottom left. Double click 'new play list' and name it whatever you wish. Click and drag all the songs you want here from your library. You can listen to this on the computer or even take it on the go by transferring it to your ipod.
